LGA 2nd sustainable communities conference

Sustainable communities in both urban and rural areas must meet the needs of existing and future generations.  They provide quality homes in a clean, safe, green environment with a good well planned infrastructure.  This conference will demonstrate how central the sustainable communities agenda is to the work of local authorities and their partners.

The conference will host high level keynote speakers, along with a variety of workshops and an exhibition.  It will be of particular interest to elected members and officers with a stake in the sustainable communities agenda.  If you are from an urban or rural authority, if your interest is planning, housing, the environment, regeneration, community well-being or the children agenda, this conference is relevant to you.  The conference will also be of interest to the private and voluntary sectors and community groups.
