Monkey Business: Marketing for Social Enterprises

Time and date:
09:45–12:30, February 07, 2008
Location:
Burley Lodge Centre, Leeds
Description:

Thursday 7th February 2007 at Burley Lodge Centre, Leeds. 9.45am – 12.30pm

Successful marketing is all about building relationships. That's something that social enterprises tend to be good at - and it's what we explore in our Monkey Business workshop. We take inspiration from the ways bands like Yorkshire's own Arctic Monkeys have built relationships with their customers, in order to explore how you can do the same.

In this stimulating half-day workshop we will cover: How to work out which relationships you need to develop (your market segmentation) How to tailor what you offer to each customer group (your marketing mix) And then, with our monkey nutshell marketing plan, we'll help you to come up with do-able, affordable ways to build committed, long-lasting relationships with your customers.

The workshop is delivered by Rob Greenland from Social Business Consulting.

More details about his approach to marketing are available on his business planning blog: http://thesocialbusiness.typepad.com/social_business_plans/marketing_and_pr/index.html
